EPISODES 19 SUMMARY - A truce is called so Schenizel can meet with the leaders of the Black Knights. Lelouch is too devastated to attend. Schenizel reveals the truth about Lelouch and his Geass, as well as the many people Lelouch has used it on, including Euphemia. A recording from Lelouch's meeting with Suzaku solidifies the evidence. The Black Knights betray Lelouch in exchange for Japan's freedom. Unable to escape, Lelouch tells Kallen that he was using her all along to keep her from sharing his fate, but whispers that she should live on. Lelouch is prepared to accept his fate, but he is rescued by Rolo, who uses the ShinkirÅ in tandem with his Geass to escape the combined forces of the Black Knights and the Britannians. However, in doing so, he overtaxes his heart and dies after flying Lelouch to safety. Lelouch resolves to not waste the life given to him by Rolo, and kill the Emperor by his own hand.
