Danity Kane - Damaged OFFICIAL Music Video [HQ]
The pink special effects is used to represent the setting of being within an actual heart.
The pink represents a girl being bound in this guy's heart, trying to break free so that she can move on to someone new, but she can't because her heart is damaged. The point of the hospital scene,is that they can't figure out how to fix a broken heart, so they just give up and leave--hence the note "tired of the damage" that they leave on the guy's chest.
