Description: This at first looks like mylar balloons until it starts stretching all out of shape like an amoeba with dark tentacles or something. It's in very good focus, with other witnesses and they seem impressed as well. @ 1:22 I swear this thing looks like it's shape shifting and NOT balloons. Unless it is a bunch of silver mylar balloons dragging along some dark onion skin paper attached. Be sure to watch it on full-screen because it is so clear, and notice @ 2:33 it looks like a solid mass with a surface.<br /><br />So what do you think? The film is dated August 26th, 2008. I'm not sure where it is being filmed. This may turn out to be a hoax.<br /><br />8/28 Update: I just found out the man who filmed this is Arturo Robles Gil. <br />He has a YouTube channel, but it is kind of hidden and he may not want to be bothered, but more vids are there. His clips appear to show large numbers of strange lights floating through the sky. The explanations offered to debunk these clips include balloons (as in a mass balloon release or launch), or bird flocks too far away to be resolved as such by the camera.<br /><br />The balloon explanation is hard to accept because balloons in a mass release move in random patterns...a fractal pattern...based on winds, weight, drag, etc. The objects in Robles Gil's clips move in very apparent unison, with an occasional flock member making arbitrary movements. Some have characterized the movements as if "in a liquid". The uniformity of motion in the clips makes balloons a far-fetched culprit.<br /><br />My hypothesis is that Arturo Robles Gil uses a few tools and tricks to create his clips; that he uses discrete light sources, reflected through clear glass, against the sky, to record his clips; that the camera sees the light reflection against the sky and the images merge to form a whole; that once the parts are aligned properly, the scene can be zoomed in or out, focused or de-focused; that the "objects" move across the sky in perfect unison by turning the glass pane on its vertical axis."<br /><br />(Then the blogger proceeds to describe his experiment to recreate some of Mr. Gil's footage)<br /><br />Señor Gil replies to this:<br /><br />los ojos de cualquier persona en desconocimiento de la fotografía o el video resulta impresionante su propuesta, pero con todo el respeto que su persona me merece es absolutamente absurda.
